Comics Final Order Cutoff – 11th March 2023

This is your weekly reminder that Final Order Cutoff (FOC) orders are due by 10am on Saturday! Send an email over to shop@proudlion.co.uk to add any of these titles to your orders or pull list. This week’s FOC includes science-fiction stories from across the multiverse, supernatural mysteries, video game adventures, a villainous lion and an all-new Captain America crossover!

Some publishers are no longer offering later printings, and some titles sell out on release. Orders placed after FOC rely on extra stock being available, so get your order in today so you don’t miss out!

DISNEY VILLAINS SCAR #1 – Boom! Studios launches a new range of comic books about Disney’s greatest villains! First up is a series focusing on Scar, from the world of The Lion King! Enraged and unable to accept that he will never be king, a plan is starting to formulate within Scar’s corrupt mind, which will bring him face-to-face with the mysterious shaman, Rafiki. A tale of fire and fury from Eisner and Ringo Award-winning author Chuck Brown (Bitter Root) withstunning art from Trevor Fraley. This title is not expected to be released as a graphic novel until at least 2025 – if you want to read it before then, make sure to add the single issues to your pull list!

JUNK RABBIT #1 – Described as Swamp Thing meets RoboCop, creator Jimmie Robinson brings a new take to dystopian tales of climate disaster. SEA OF THIEVES ORIGINS CHAMPION OF SOULS GN – From the hit video game series, collecting the digital comic series Sea of Thieves: Champion of Souls and Sea of Thieves: The Servant’s Tale. Follow the rise of Sir Arthur Pendragon as he forges his name as the Champion of Souls!

TALES OF VULCANIA #1 – Based on the roleplaying game Vulcania by Geargames. This is the beginning of an epic “magmapunk” adventure! The shadow of a war has changed the world of Vulcania forever.
