Final Order Cutoff – Comics For May 28th 2022

This is your weekly reminder that Final Order Cutoff (FOC) orders are due by 10am (6pm this time, as we’re late getting this information out to you) on Saturday! Send an email over to to add any of these titles to your orders or pull list. This week’s FOC includes Samurai Sonja, The Variants, Beware the Eye of Odin, Nook, Hamelin, and more.

Some publishers are no longer offering later printings and some titles are selling out on release. Orders placed after FOC rely on extra stock being available, so get your order in today so you don’t miss out!

This week’s FOC includes (but is definitely not limited to):

  • SAMURAI SONJA #1 – Sonja, daughter of a slain samurai and desperate to prove herself worthy of her family’s history, makes an awful deal with a dreaded sea goddess. She will be gifted magical armour and weapons to slay mythical beasts – but if she falls in battle, her bloodline will be completely erased, and her family’s name will be no more.
  • BEWARE THE EYE OF ODIN #1 (OF 4) – When a Viking prince finds the Eye of Odin, he must return it to its rightful owner or face a death of boils and decay. By his side are a one-armed warrior past his prime and a female warrior convinced she’s a Valkyrie. Monstrous mayhem ensues.
  • VARIANTS #1 (OF 5) – A seemingly routine investigation leads Jessica Jones to encounter other incarnations of herself from across the Multiverse. How will she deal with her selves? Find out when you meet… the Variants!
  • NOOK #1 (OF 3) – Fleeing the oppression of WWII Germany, Avery and her parents move to a remote town on the border of France only to discover their new is haunted by a dark past and a cat named Nook. Swept up into a deadly cycle of violence, Avery will come to both fear and love her fuzzy new friend as the dark and twisted history of her new home is revealed.
  • HAMELIN #1 (OF 6) – Adults start slaughtering kids under the age of 18 all across the U.S.A. In Brooklin Edward, Kelly, Josh struggle to survive avoiding the assault of their teacher and of a vicious janitor. Their only chance to survive is to head towards an abandoned metro station.
  • THOR LIGHTNING AND LAMENT #1 (ONE SHOT) – The Mighty Thor has abandoned Asgard in her greatest hour of need, leaving the Realm Eternal in the hands of his half brother Loki. With Asgard under assault and Lady Sif hovering near death, can anyone save the Golden City from annihilation?
  • IRON CAT #1 (OF 5) – There’s someone new in the Iron Cat armor and they have a plan that will put them in the crosshairs of all the heroes of the Marvel Universe. Both Iron Man and Black Cat’s secrets and mistakes are going to come back to haunt them and it’s going to get ROUGH! 
  • BUFFY 97 #1 (ONE SHOT) – “That Buffy Show” is going well until the cast gets a taste of the supernatural when the audience totally vamps out! The Scooby Gang is forced to learn actual slayage skills on live television from “TV” Buffy to save their lives, and more importantly… keep the show from being cancelled!
  • REDMAN #1 (OF 5) – Trapped in a desolate and yet somehow familiar world populated ferocious beasts, Redman continues his endless Red Fight, battling tirelessly to cull the monsters. With each fierce battle, the mysterious, blood-splattered “hero” sinks closer to his prey, while a sinister form watches and records his every move…
  • MONSTROUS BOOK OF THE DEAD #1 (OF 4) – The father/daughter mummy duo seeks the long-lost Book of the Dead to complete their family once again, but it is hidden and guarded by the supernatural powers of ancient Egypt. Join the search in the ultimate cosmic treasure hunt!
  • AGGRETSUKO OUT TO LUNCH #1 – When Aggretsuko and her coworkers go on a company retreat to Tokyo Video Joy Place, a theme park run by an American movie studio, Aggretsuko is overwhelmed by repeated messages to follow her dreams. But what are Aggretsuko’ dreams? And how can she make them a reality?
