From Friday 17th November, Magic: The Gathering players will be able to sign up to our seasonal sealed league! This ongoing event gives players a chance to play quick games of Magic against other league players, while earning points for prizes.
How It Works
You can sign up to join the league in store at any time for £15, which includes one faction-based deck box and three Draft Boosters to start. Use these boosters to build a 30-card deck, which you can change as often as you like! Then play in best-of-one matches against other league players, and record your results on your match card.
Each week, you can purchase one Set Booster to add to their card pool for their deck. You can also purchase one additional Set Booster after losing three games. (Your faction box of cards will stay in the store until the end of the League.)
Our Sealed League will not have any specific event sessions. Instead, you will be able to get in league games during any other Magic event that you are participating in, such as Friday Night Magic. (Please note that league sign up does not include event entry for other events.)
Earning Points and Prizes
You can earn two types of points for this event: league points, and faction points.
League points are for individual players. You will earn one league point for each unique opponent you play against each week. At the end of the season, you will receive prizes based on your final score!
Faction points are for all players in a particular faction. For the Lost Caverns of Ixalan season, these factions are vampires, pirates, dinosaurs, and merfolk. You will earn one faction point for your faction for each win against a unique opponent each week. At the end of the season, players of the faction with the highest average win record will receive a bonus prize!
Prizes will include a variety of promo cards, including foils, current and previous promo packs, 30th Anniversary cards, and Buy-A-Box cards from previous sets. Every player will receive at least one promo card just for participating in the league!
