We’re so excited to be bringing back many of our popular game events to the store from next month! When you’re looking for weekly Magic: The Gathering, beginner D&D sessions, tabletop board game days, or anything else, it’s always worth seeing what’s going on at your friendly local game store. Here’s a look at what we have coming up in June 2022!
WEEKLY EVENTS
Casual Commander
Fridays, 5pm – 7pm
£3 entry (free with Friday Night Magic)
Bring your fun decks for MTG Commander! Every player gets a promo card after the first game of the event.

Friday Night Magic
Fridays, 7pm – 10pm
£5 entry (includes one promo pack)
Play any format you like with weekly casual Magic: The Gathering! No rounds, no pressure, just games.

Casual Pokemon
Sundays, 12pm – 3pm
£5 entry (includes one booster pack)
Pick up casual Pokemon games with the local community, and build your collection of promo cards for playing!
Returning from Sunday 29th May!
Beginner’s Dungeons & Dragons
Wednesdays, 7pm – 10pm
£5 entry
Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons! Everything you need is provided, so drop in, grab a character, and roll some dice.

OTHER EVENTS
MTG Commander Legends Battle For Baldur’s Gate Prerelease
Friday 3rd June, 7pm – 10pm
Saturday 4th June, 12pm – 3pm
Join us for one of the most exciting events in the Magic: The Gathering calendar! Prerelease is a casual, fun-filled event where you get to play with the latest, brand new Magic: The Gathering cards before release.
Game Master Meet Up
Saturday 11th June, 12pm – 4pm
Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been running RPGs for years, this is a chance to sit down and have a casual chat with other game masters. Talk about your favourite games, bounce ideas, ask for advice, or just meet other GMs from the area.
Free entry! No tickets are required for this event, but please be aware we are limited to 14 spaces on the day.
Marvel Champions Open Play
Saturday 25th June, 12pm – 4pm
Play casual games of Marvel Champions with the local community! Bring your favourite hero deck (or pick one up in store on the day) and challenge the fiercest villains in the Marvel universe. Every player will receive four promo cards (1x Kamala Khan, 3x Tackle) for participating!
All players will need to bring a hero deck with them to play (or pick one up in store on the day). We will have one core set available, but if you have your own copy, you are welcome to bring that as well!
£3 entry, no advance tickets required.
